Library/Resources

Cathedral High School’s Library Media Center (LMC) provides a wide range of resources available for CHS students. With over 5,000 books and 37 seats in 1,500 square feet, the LMC meets the standards and guidelines of the Massachusetts School Library Media Association. With generous donations and grants from CHS alumni/ae, the Fidelity Foundation, the Stratford Foundation, Boston, and the Macomber Foundation, students enjoy the use of 25 computers with high-speed access to the Internet.
The continued generosity of many corporations and foundations, especially, WilmerHale, enables the LMC to replace all outdated books with current and relevant books and provides online databases like Newsbank and SIRS Researcher, that offers hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles.
- The LMC is open daily for our students from 7:15 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- CHS students may also sign up to use the LMC during their study period
