Annual Fund

The CHS Annual Fund is one of the School’s best sources of flexible income. Money raised each year through the CHS Annual Fund helps cover the operating expenses of the School. In 2006-2007, tuition only covers 35% of the cost of educating a student at Cathedral High School. The CHS Annual Fund helps defray many of the costs not covered by tuition.

Your gift to the CHS Annual Fund helps

• Provide funds for library and science laboratory materials;
• Supports the arts program;
• Subsidizes the cost of field trips that supplement in-classroom instruction;
• Underwrite visiting artists and performers;
• Fund vital infrastructure, including growing technological needs;
• Fund student organizations and activities;
• Ensure the continuation of academic excellence by providing much need financial resources to meet the expenses of a comprehensive and excellent curriculum.

 
Without the generous support of CHS graduates and friends, Cathedral High School would need to charge an average of $8000 more per student.

Help make a difference. Each and every gift, regardless of the size has a positive impact. Your gift combined with the contributions from other CHS graduates, faculty, staff and friends provide crucial support for CHS’s students and faculty. Last year, 75 percent of donors made gifts of $250 or less to the CHS Annual Fund. Gifts of every size help make a difference!
