Tuition and Financial Aid

Affording Cathedral High School

100% of Cathedral Students Receive Financial Aid of ~50% or More
Cathedral High School is proud to stand behind our mission and our commitment to ensure all families have access to a high quality, Catholic education. Through the generosity of donors, families receive initial financial support for a portion of their tuition responsibility.

The vast majority of families pay significantly less than the $7,900 maximum tuition.

*Need-Based Personal Financial Support
All families are eligible to apply for additional need-based financial support
by completing a FACTS application. The information provided will allow the school
to determine if additional financial support is needed. Historically, most Cathedral
families qualify for additional need-based aid.

What about fees at Cathedral?
We’re glad you asked. At Cathedral, we pride ourselves on keeping fees to a minimum. We have only one fee after you enroll: an annual $75 technology fee. That’s it, period. Students are free to play sports, join a club, and embrace every opportunity for growth with no additional fees. We don’t just want you to come here—we want you to thrive, so we’ve eliminated any additional expenses that might get in the way.

How do I apply for Financial Aid?
All applicants are required to apply for financial aid via FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment. All incoming students for the Fall of 2024 should complete this application ASAP as final need-based aid cannot be determined until the FACTS process is complete. The online application can be found here.

How do I pay for my tuition?  Your child’s tuition can be paid to Cathedral High School by check, money order, or credit card. Checks and money orders can be dropped off or mailed to Carla Ostine, Business Manager, Cathedral High School, 74 Union Park Street, Boston, MA 02118. If you would like to pay by credit card, please do so here.
