Course Descriptions / Curriculum

Cathedral High School's curriculum program is designed to help students and their parents understand the educational process at CHS. This program meets the standards set by the Massachusetts Department of Education's, Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Each year, students take six courses, most are required courses. The intent of these offerings is to challenge the minds of the students and to empower them to respect and have confidence in their ability to learn. It is also meant to spur students to develop disciplined study habits. We believe that all of our students can learn and that there is no substitute for hard work. Since 95% of our graduates move on to higher education, we belive this curriculum program successfully provides a strong academic foundation that enables our students to be accepted to college or any other higher education endeavor.
