Foreign Language Department

The development of the foreign language program is consistent with the school's guiding beliefs and assumptions. The school's mission is to serve students from diverse cultures and nations. We promote the development of the student and stress the importance of understanding and appreciating what various cultures have contributed to our society and to the world.

Students who enroll in the language program will develop a competency in a foreign language as well as appreciate his or her cultural heritage and that of others. Through diverse teaching methods such as conversation, classroom worksheets, reports, written nightly homework assignments and media such as videos, computers, and the Internet, students are engaged in the learning process and become open to other points of view.
